Postdoc Applicants

We are hiring a postdoc to join the lab and the Modelscapes Consortium! Apply by May 12, 2023 here. More information about the position can be found here.

In general, individuals interested in potentially joining the Modelscapes Consortium and who are excited about highly collaborative research for theory and statistical method developments, can email to inquire about potential open positions. Feel free to reach out to discuss potential postdoc funding opportunities, such as the NSF and USDA postdoc fellowships.

Graduate Students

I am not currently recruiting, but if you think our research interests may be a great fit, please reach out! I am particularly interested in working with folks interested in combining experiments and quantitative modeling in community ecology, broadly focusing on community stability and coexistence, especially in the face of climate change and increasing environmental variability. Interested Ph.D. students would join UW's interdepartmental Program in Ecology.

If interested, please contact me at lshoema1 at uwyo. edu with:
1. Your CV
2. A brief description of your previous research experience, research interests, and possible projects you are interested in pursuing if joining the lab
