I am looking for a Ph.D. student to join the lab fall 2020. Please see the call here for more details. I am particularly interested in students interested in combining experiments and quantitative modeling in community ecology, broadly focusing on community stability and coexistence, especially in the face of climate change and increasing environmental variability. As the lab is new, this means we have great flexibility to work together to design project specifics, building on both of our strengths. Interested Ph.D. students would join UW's interdepartmental Program in Ecology.
If interested, please contact me with:
1. Your CV
2. A 1 page description of your previous research experience, research interests, and possible projects you are interested in pursuing if joining the lab
Undergraduates who are interested in gaining research experience are always encouraged to contact the lab! We will work together to come up with a research project that fits your research interests, goals, and background experience. Our lab welcomes students from diverse disciplines, and we have previously worked with students from biology, mathematics, computer science, environmental science, and educational backgrounds.
